Listing details for 11 Q St NE, Washington, DC 20002 : If these walls could talk, they would tell the story of Eckington. The story of Northeast DC. The neighborhood was named after the "country" estate that preceded it and the land it was originally built on in the late 1800s, was considered the suburbs to a young Washington DC. Originally built in 1905, this beautiful victorian style rowhome is ready for a new chapter to be written. Outstanding bones and structure and an after renovation value that could exceed seven figures, if you've got the vision and passion to bring it to life. "Good bones" is an understatement. The entry foyer/vestibule is a homage to the era that the home was built. It illustrates the functional feature for storing shoes and outerwear as soon as you enter the home. The property location is outstanding with a walk score of 92. This means that all the everyday amenities including grocery, fitness facilities, parks, and outdoor space are in abundance and within walking distance. With multiple Metros close by, this home has everything that NOMA and the H Street corridor has to offer to the east and some of the best dining and nightlife in Bloomingdale to the west.
