0 Old Mount Weather Rd Bluemont, VA 20135

Listing details for 0 Old Mount Weather Rd, Bluemont, VA 20135 : It doesn't get any more private than this! Extremely unique, secluded lot located in the Blue Ridge mountains of the Upperville/Bluemont area. Drive past estates of rolling farmland and beautifully gated properties on your way to this hidden gem. The entrance is past a historic estate (Trappe Hill Farm) with a stable and pond on your left. Situated on over 3 acres with an approved 2 bedroom perc site, this one-of-a-kind lot is hard to find in this area. The road that leads to the lot is an abandoned state road. This is a family owned property that was passed down and the road leading up to the lot has eroded over the years. It used to be easy to drive all the way up to the lot, but you now have to park your vehicle and walk up to see it. It's about .6 miles up to the lot, so bring your hiking boots or appropriate shoes. This could be a perfect getaway property with a home powered by solar energy. Could be totally off the grid. With a little work and imagination, this could be special! It feels like you own the whole mountain side when you're up there. Certification letter on file with Virginia Department of Health dated February 10, 1995. Check out the video for detailed instructions to get to the lot. Owner RE Licensee.
