Listing details for 2513 N Quantico St, Arlington, VA 22207 : Don't miss my video tour, it's lovely! Welcome to this unique expanded colonial with its cottage-luxe vibe and windows galore. Layer after layer of improvements over the last 11 years now blend so well with the property’s original character -- quality construction of a family room, vaulted ceiling, its wall of bookshelves and storage built by master carpenters from the Amish counties of Pennsylvania, and the meticulous design of the primary bathroom. Every work surface in the home has been replaced and the laundry area completely reconfigured. Inside and out comfort was a priority – find a wonderful screened porch, wide deck and gardens wrapping the exterior. The kitchen, totally renovated at the time of the 2005 addition and again in 2014, features beautiful cabinetry, eat-in space, rich tilework and a sparkling window overlooking the yard. There are striking areas for home offices and guests, too. The paneled library/office boasts a 21-foot tall ceiling. Don’t miss the creative use of the upper level combining two sleeping rooms with built-in beds, a sitting room, desk and bookshelves to become Bedroom #4. So much storage is found throughout and there is also the chance to finish the huge lower level into a rec room, gym or hobby room. These owners have also lovingly refined this hospitable residence with important utility and appliance replacements: gas hot water heater, 3 zones of gas heating, 3 zones of A/C, five-burner gas stove, speed oven, refrigerator, 2 dish drawers, washer and dryer, as well as the addition of the new side deck built with top-of-the-line TimberTech and railings. +++ALL THIS IS JUST 6 BLOCKS (15 minute walk) FROM THE EAST FALLS CHURCH METRO!+++
